Voltage / Bon's Salute / Ballbreaker/ Hells Bells
Let There Be Bon, Railway Hotel, Fremantle, Sun 16 February 2020
Voltage
Under bright blue Bon skies Voltage got the Party Started.
Playing a classic set of Aussie covers (Johnny Diesel, Midnight Oil, Divinyls et al) with spirit, skill and swagger there was nothing suspect about Voltage.
Great warming up act.
Bon's Salute
Raising the flag high Bons Salute gave it their all and delivered.
With a remarkable Bon sounds alike they hit it hard and heavy giving the AC/DC fans what they wanted. in Style with their own unique brand of emotive driven rock.
Ballbreaker
With a stand in singer breaking her Ballbreaker LIVE virginity due to a South American Samba beat Ballbreaker were on a mission, not just to be present, but to Crush and Destroy.
Outstanding guitarists who don’t stand still and fire at will, a rhythm section that’s brutally on the beat and a singer who thrills in the heat this was a sensational set of AC/DC covers.
This unit has made them their own.
Bon would have been proud and loud in praise I’m sure. Check them out on the Highway to Hell coming at ya in first weekend in March.
Hell Bells
The assembled AC/DC aficionado’s flooded to the front as Hells Bells saddled up to do their thing and let it ring out, loud and proud.
After storming set’s by Bon’s Salute and Ballbreaker their work was cut out.
No fear as they done their Bon, and Brian thing, and rocked it out into the night.
Heads down Rock n Roll. How sweet the sounds the rang around North Fremantle town, one of Bons old stomping crowds.
